In addition to advertising revenue from this site, all of the income I receive from writing, editing, merchandising, etc. goes under the Truth Mission umbrella for tax purposes. transforming lives + communities
Craig and Allison live in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and serve on the church planting team.
Craig is the team leader for the church planting team. He also trains evangelists and oversees planting churches in new outreach areas. The Fowlers are responsible for running a clean water well project that involves drilling wells in areas where there is little or no access to clean water. Allison produces clean water and health education materials to be taught in those communities.
Craig and Allison joined CMF’s church planting team in Ethiopia in 2005. For 10 years, they worked among the rural Gumuz people, planting churches and managing a small health clinic. They have three children: Zane (2000), Ezra (2003) and Anna (2006).
NightLight International has been ministering to Thai women who seek to leave the sex trafficking trade through ethical employment, with the help of the Song Sawang (translated as “Shine the Light”) Church, a community for spiritual growth, evangelism and discipleship for women and their support network after the effects of trafficking. NightLight is led by IM global servant Annie Dieselberg, and Song Sowang Church is pastored by IM global servant Jeff Dieselberg. With over 12 years of successful ministry in Bangkok, Thailand, the NightLight ministry has been paying rent for its current location and Song Sawang Church ministry has been seeking a permanent home. NightLight has been renting this facility and risk losing the continuing of ministry. Song Sawang Church has weathered the ups and downs in funding and managing the challenge of securing a permanent location when those whom the church serves lack a stable income while going through job training and recovery from trafficking. However, the situation today is encouraging. By securing the capital, International Ministries would enable NightLight to purchase a building at building at 19/2 Sukhumvit street. The 19/2 building which NighLight currently rents is right next door to NightLight Design’s permanent location, so jobs could remain without disruption. Furthermore, the building has enough square footage on the first floor to accommodate Song Sawang Church. The first floor space, when not being used for church services, could double as additional meeting space for trainings. Annie and Jeff see this as a profound answer to prayer! Due to the longtime positive relationship the Dieselbergs have had with the landlord and owner of the building, he has offered NightLight the first right of purchase at a significantly reduced price over market value. Property in the heart of Bangkok could sell for significantly more, and it would likely go to a buyer that would further expand the sex trade industry in this area. Annie and Jeff, together with NightLight and Song Sawang Church, ask for help in securing this location for God’s work so that they can continue to shine a light in the darkness.
